Expectations of NOVA Independent Study
My name is Kim Duncan (she/her), and I will be your NOVA teacher this year! I have been working in education since 2001. I received a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from UCSD, a Master's degree in Educational Administration from SFSU, and I hold a Multiple Subject teaching credential, a Single Subject teaching credential in Math, and an Administrative Services Credential Certificate of Eligibility. I also hold a teaching license in the state of Oregon. I have taught 2nd grade, 5th grade, middle school math, Algebra 1, Geometry, 6-12 grade NOVA, and worked as an Instructional Math Coach. I was also the Dean of Students at Hamilton K-8 School in Novato for 7 years. I am looking forward to a fantastic year!
